Take the Green Residential Challenge to be recognized as a Green Residence.
This is the City's second set of Green challenges. The 2011 Green Residence Challenge's list of Honorees is available online. (Are you a business owner looking for the Business Challenge? Click here.)
We invite you to tell us what you're doing to be green. It's quick and easy to apply:
All you need to do is check off activities you're currently doing in any or all of the following areas:
- Waste Reduction
- Water Conservation
- Energy Conservation
- Recycling
We've even included an opportunity for you to tell us what you're doing that's creative and not included in our lists. We love videos and pictures, too!
The deadline for the 2012 Green Challenge is Monday, April 30, 2012.
If you take the challenge you will be recognized at the City Council meeting on May 10 and listed on the City website.
If you were one of our 2011 Honorees, you're eligible to participate again. You're probably doing even more than you were last year.
