To advance the City's vision, every two years the Williamsburg City Council identifies new strategic objectives for City government. Biennial Goals, Initiatives and Outcomes (GIOs) provide an expression of City priorities, as specific and measurable as possible, covering a two-year period. Longer term objectives are expressed in terms of what the City hopes to accomplish in the next two years toward that objective. (Previous GIOs are posted below.)
Public input is an important element of the process. In addition to the opportunities for public comment listed in the schedule of this year's process, citizens are invited to send comments for posting online to communications@williamsburgva.gov or to council@williamsburgva.gov. |
