The City of Williamsburg's Fiscal Year runs from July 1 to June 30. Preparation of the budget begins long before it's adopted in May. Citizen input is essential to the process, and the City tries, therefore, to make the process as clear and accessible as possible. Updates and materials will be posted to this webpage.
Please review the timeline and opportunities for public comment. We encourage residents to attend public meetings and contact City staff and Council by phone, email or in person with any questions or comments. |

March 3, 2012, 8-9:30am: City Manager budget presentation to Neighborhood Council of Williamsburg. Quarterpath Recreation Center, 202 Quarterpath Road. Opportunity for public comment.
March 13, 2012: City Manager Jack Tuttle budget presentation to the Economic Development Authority's Business Roundtable, Movie Tavern at High Street. Opportunity for public comment. (Download presentation)
March 15, 2012: Proposed Operating and Capital Improvement Budgets delivered to Council.
March 19-20, 2012: City Council Work Sessions--Review of Outside Agency Requests
