Mission Statement
Our mission is to help insure public health and safety through compliance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. Although compliance with code is required, our goal is to achieve compliance through education. If there is a code related item we can help you understand better, or if you have any questions about the permit process, please ask one of our staff members to explain it to you. If a staff member cannot provide the information, someone who can will contact you as soon as possible.
