Channel 48 Programming Calendar
A complete list of City government programs airs on the Channel 48 message board between scheduled programming. Regular programming is interrupted by live and repeat broadcasts of City government meetings, and by live broadcasts of James City County government meetings. Public Access programs appear on City Channel 46.
WMSBG 48 Electronic Bulletin Board Announcements Guidelines
Purpose: The Electronic Bulletin Board on cable channel 48 is to provide city information and meeting announcements to citizens, students, and visitors.
Guidelines
- Only announcements submitted by City of Williamsburg government and organizations and groups affiliated with the City will be posted on the Electronic Bulletin Board.
- Announcements will be accepted by:

• Announcements should be typed or neatly written and must provide contact name and phone number of the person/group submitting the request.
• Announcements submitted by phone or voice mail will not be accepted.
Announcements that are commercial in nature will not be posted. (Ex. containing ticket prices, entry fees, or promoting specific businesses/for profit groups etc.)
- A For More Information statement with a contact phone number or email address must be included with each submission
- WMBG48 reserves the right to edit announcements to ensure that the announcement will fit on the bulletin board.
Deadline
- Announcements must be submitted two (2) weeks in advance of the requested airtime.
- Although WMBG48 will make every effort to post announcements, all information sent in is a request . WMBG48 cannot guarantee that every announcement will be posted.
Posting
- Announcements will run for a maximum of 2 weeks, if an end date is not specified.
- No announcements will run indefinitely. An announcement must be re-submitted via email, fax, or mail.
