- EASTER EGG HUNT
The annual Easter Egg Hunt is held the Saturday before Easter for ages walking to 7. There is no fee but each child should bring a basket or bag to collect the eggs he/she finds. Each participating child receives a prize. This event is co-sponsored with the James City County Parks & Recreation Department.
The Easter Egg Hunt will be held on the baseball fields of the Warhill Sports Complex on Longhill Road (this is the same location of the WISC - Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex). There will be a visit from the Easter Bunny, face painting, and clowns. For specific times for each age division, call the Quarterpath Recreation Center at 259-3760. - HERSHEY YOUTH TRACK AND FIELD MEET
This yearly event is usually held the second Saturday in June from 8:30 a.m to 12:00 noon, at The College of William & Mary's Zable Stadium. Ages 9 - 14 may participate in sprints, runs, relays, softball throw, and standing jump in beginner and up levels. Entries are taken at the Williamsburg Recreation Department at Quarterpath Park and the James City County Division of Parks and Recreation on Longhill Road. Entries will also be taken the day of the event. - SUMMER BREEZE CONCERT SERIES
Concerts are held during the month of July and August on Duke of Gloucester Street in Merchants Square . There is no fee to attend the concerts, just bring a chair and dinner if you like, and enjoy a summer evening with your friends. This program is sponsored in cooperation with the City of Williamsburg , Merchants Square Association, York County Arts Commission and James City County Division of Parks and Recreation.

Join us at Waller Mill Park for this FREE event that is filled with earth friendly and educational stations, demonstrations and activities for the entire family. - HISTORIC TRIANGLE SENIOR CENTER
Attention seniors, ages 50 and over, who reside in James City County, Williamsburg, or York County, you are invited to take advantage of the many opportunities offered by the Historic Triangle Senior Center. If you want to meet other area seniors and get involved in some great activities, call the Senior Center at 259-4187 to join their mailing list. The Senior Times is a monthly newsletter loaded with fun activities and plenty of informative articles! There are monthly socials, luncheons, health fairs, trips and a medical escort service!
The Center is located at the James City/Williamsburg Community Center, 5301 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, Virginia. The Senior Center is open Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (excluding holidays). For more information, call the Senior Center at 757-259-4187.
The Williamsburg Recreation Department works closely with other area agencies to support the Senior Center in its mission to enhance the quality of life for seniors in the Greater Williamsburg area.
