Quarterpath Recreation Center provides a double gymnasium as well as two multi-purpose rooms and classrooms for community meetings for a rental fee. The center also serves as the City’s emergency shelter. Recreation programs include: year-round instructional classes and athletic programs for adults, teens, and children. City Parks provide venues for neighborhood picnics and other leisure time activities in a passive or active environment. Park sites include: Bicentennial Park, College Landing Park, Highland Park, Wales Park, Kiwanis Park (has three softball fields), Quarterpath Park (has three softball fields), Waller Mill Park (has boating and fishing on Waller Mill Reservoir), Strawberry Plains Park, Geddy Park and Redoubt Park. Check out our city parks brochure. Waller Mill Dog Park provides a safe, open play park for large and small dogs to enjoy. In order to utilize the park, please bring your dog's current license and rabies vaccination. Check out our Waller Mill Dog Park brochure. Meeting Space for neighborhood association annual meetings is provided free of charge (City Council Chambers) but is contingent on availability. To confirm that your HOA is within the City limits, please review our City listing. Contact: Administrative Assistant Gerry Walton at 220-6100 or gwalton@williamsburgva.gov. Additional meeting space is available for a rental fee at the Community Building (220-6140), Quarterpath Recreation Center (259-3760), and the Williamsburg Regional Library (259-4070).
