Evacuation
Interstate 64 and Route 60 West are the primary routes to leave the City but please note that traffic will likely be heavy. It is best to evacuate as early as possible. The City of Williamsburg is a host jurisdiction during an evacuation of coastal areas - this means people may be leaving their homes in other jurisdictions to potentially relocate here.
Hurricane Disaster Supply Kit
Make sure to have supplies on hand to last each person at least three days. Download a printable Emergency Supplies List (PDF) from the Virginia Department of Health to help you get ready for emergencies.
