The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) serves as a centralized location from which emergency operations can be directed and coordinated. It houses state-of-the-art technology including twenty-one computers, eleven video displays, radios, and an audio system to communicate throughout the EOC.
The EOC is housed in the Fire Department and staffed by representatives from all departments in the City of Williamsburg Government. Outside partners, such as William and Mary, Colonial Williamsburg, Hospital Partners, and more are also frequently involved in supporting the EOC.
