Event Overview

Williamsburg Parks and Recreation would like to honor and remember the sacrifice of our fallen Military, Fire, Emergency Medical Services and Law Enforcement members by sharing their fallen hero stories at Waller Mill Park. During Memorial Day weekend, we honor those who were killed in the line of duty.

The public is invited to participate in the event by sharing their story about a fallen hero. It is so important for us to continue to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice. We hope this tribute can provide support and healing to those who grieve the loss of a loved one who was taken too soon.

Gone but not forgotten: our fallen heroes remembered. We need you to tell their story because they cannot.

If you would like to submit a fallen hero story, please provide the following information.

Please submit a photo along with your submission. Photos of person being honored in uniform are preferred by not necessary.
