Williamsburg Police to Conduct Training Exercises at Matthew Whaley Elementary

On Friday, July 29 and Friday, August 5, the Williamsburg Police Department will conduct practical training exercises at Matthew Whaley Elementary School. 

This training will involve a large police presence in the area. Simulated gunfire may be used during the training. 

School is not in session, and no students or staff will be involved in the training. The MWES parking lot will be blocked off, and the school will be closed to visitors both days.
