 Overview

Located at 809 S Henry Street the cemetery is owned and operated by the City of Williamsburg. A full-time caretaker is on the grounds Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm.

City residents who physically reside in the city are allowed to purchase. Proof of physical residency must be provided and approved before purchase. Also former 10 year+ city residents are allowed to purchase at double the current price. Proof of prior residency must be provided and approved before purchase.

Cedar Grove Cemetery does not provide tent, chairs or vaults.

 Memorial Garden

The Cedar Grove Memorial Garden within Cedar Grove Cemetery is specifically set up for cremains only. There are no City residency requirements for burials; the garden is open to all. Only biodegradable containers are allowed. Granite monuments listing the names of the deceased surround the Memorial Garden. A fee of $350 includes burial of cremains and engraving of name. This fee may be prepaid or paid at the time of the burial.
