The City of Williamsburg is seeking qualified applicants for the contract part-time position of Tennis Instructor interested in joining a dynamic, high performing organization.

The position is responsible for providing instruction to participants in the youth and adult tennis programs offered by the Williamsburg Parks and Recreation Department.

Responsibilities include:
•Monitor, demonstrate, and instruct participants on proper techniques, fundamentals, and strategies to improve their overall game.
•Adjust instructional techniques based on strengths and weaknesses of participants.
•Plan, organize and conduct camps, clinics, lessons and practice sessions.
•Ensure participants understand tennis rules, scoring procedures, safety rules and tennis etiquette.
•Assist with and ensure tennis facility and equipment are clean, organized, and in great working condition.

The position is ideal for the organized professional committed to recreational education and seeking to be part of an innovative local government team.

The position is a part-time contract position with an hourly rate commensurate to qualifications and experience level. The position is not eligible for City of Williamsburg employment benefits.
