Downtown Parking Adjustment

Post Date:11/27/2019 10:52 AM

The closure of Nassau Street for construction associated with the DeWitt Wallace Museum has displaced the tour bus loading and unloading area for Merchants Square. Working with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and with tour group professionals, the north side of Prince George Street between North Henry Street and Nassau Street was selected as the new designated drop off location. Beginning December 2, 2019, there will be no vehicular parking in this area.

As far as the Nassau Street closure in general, the contractor for the Art Museums construction said the upper part near Francis Street should re-open again in February or March.

Thank you for your patience.
