Williamsburg’s Parks and Recreation affords residents countless opportunities for indoor and outdoor recreation and enjoyment; enhancing our sense of community and well-being. The Quarterpath Recreation Center is a 35,000 square foot facility providing both residents and non-residents with a wide array of recreational activities and amenities. Various instructional classes, athletic programs for youth and adults, sports camps, open gym times and special events are held throughout the year at this facility. There are four (4) rooms available for rent for special family events as well as corporate meetings and functions.
Williamsburg owns and maintains ten (10) parks for residents to use and enjoy during their leisure hours that includes three community parks, four neighborhood parks, and three passive parks. Amenities include playground equipment, sand volleyball, tennis courts, picnic pavilions, athletic fields for baseball, softball, and basketball, as well as boating opportunities and boat rentals.
