UPDATE MARCH 30, 2020:  The following City of Williamsburg buildings and facilities are closed to the public through April 23:  Municipal Building, Stryker Center, Quarterpath Recreation Center, Waller Mill Park, Police Department and Fire Station (only required staff will be at work, others will be teleworking). BUSINESS RECYCLING – The City does not provide recycling services to businesses.  Businesses must contract services directly with a recycling hauler (see list below) or take recyclables to the Tewning Road Convenience Center located at 137 Tewning Road.  It is free to use the center.

Business Recycling Report Forms - Businesses are encouraged to fill out and return their annual Business Recycling Reporting Forms.  These forms are mailed out in December with the business license renewals.   The City uses the recycling data to calculate and report the City's annual recycling rate to the State's Department of Environmental Quality. DEQ asks that each locality recycle 25% of their wastestream.  Recycling rates since 2008: 

2008-36%   2009-22%   2010-27%   2011-36.2%   2012-38%   2013-47%   2014-39%
