UPDATE MARCH 30, 2020:  The following City of Williamsburg buildings and facilities are closed to the public through April 23:  Municipal Building, Stryker Center, Quarterpath Recreation Center, Waller Mill Park, Police Department and Fire Station (only required staff will be at work, others will be teleworking). The Electoral Board meets the first Tuesday of every month in the Municipal Building (401 Lafayette Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185).

  • If you do not have an acceptable form of identification, contact the Williamsburg voter registration office at 401 Lafayette Street for a free ID.

March 20, 2020 - Absentee voting begins for the May City Council Election.

April 13, 2020 - Last day to register to vote for the May City Council Election.

April 28, 2020 - Last day to request absentee ballot by mail for the May City Council Election.

May 2, 2020 (Saturday) - Voter Registrar's Office open for in-person absentee voting 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - this is the last day to vote an in-person absentee ballot for the May City Council Election.

May 5, 2020 – May City Council Election Day
