Let us install your child's safety seat!

The Williamsburg Fire Department’s Child Safety Seat Program is offered as a free service for City Residents. Some of our personnel have been trained to assist parents in properly installing a child safety seat. The technicians are usually available every day between the hours of 8am – 5pm at the station located at 440 North Boundary Street.

Please bring the following items with you:
• Child Safety Seat and manufacturer’s instructions
• Car owner’s manual

It is helpful to bring your child to the appointment so the technician can check the child's fit in the car seat

In the event of an emergency call, the technician may not be able to honor your appointment.

Please call (757) 220-6220 to schedule an appointment to receive assistance in properly installing your child’s safety seat.
